Grosvenor Hotel Adelaide by Accor (couple trip)

I’d keep looking elsewhere. Stayed one night with the family and it was pretty grim. Dimly lit room with no natural light. Creaky old building. Noisy pigeon clattering all night on a loud windowsill. Broken lift. Uncomfortable bed with not enough blankets. Strange smell in the room. You get the vibe.

Location is good. Rooms are clean and I can't fault the staff. The hotel itself is so dated. Felt crossed between a roadside motel in a country town with a college dormitory. Only one lift operating. Queen side bed was an ensemble on wheels that would move even if you were just trying to lay in bed with a coffee and lean on the back rest. Courteous staff. Not a fussy hotel. No pool. Only a cereal and toast breakfast. No bar but there was one next door. It was a place to lay your head or get some work done. It was a very quiet place to stay.

Good location, friendly staff. Building is dated but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was over rated and wouldn't have again. Overall good value for money. Would stay again.

Excellent location for a conference at the Adelaide Convention Centre. Greeted by a friendly staff member and assigned my room. It was a dreadful night weather wise, very loud rain and freezing cold and windy so chose to stay in the room but could hear all the rain/storm.
