Adelaide Inn (solo trip)

Loud plane noises, no hot water, loud guests that are "outside of the hotel's controls", no refund for car park bay that the hotel never allocated - if you're expecting 4 star hotel service, good luck. Unless you plan to sleep after 11pm, do not stay here. It is on a flight path, the planes flyover every 10mins and very low so it is LOUD. They have no reception service after 8pm, so good luck stay...

Terrible! This place in inconveniently unstaffed most of the time. I was unhappy from night 1 with the room being so noisy but couldn’t ring to be moved so I was unable to sleep. Up stairs rooms are horrendously noisy you can hear every other person in the hall ways, slamming doors, pipes in the walls & celings, toilets flushing & people coughing, talking, knocking etc. I had to buy earplugs! The staff in the morning breakfast are so lovely. Rooms are simple and functional. My only reason for the 4 star is my room is right near the dinning area and the end of shifts the bins are at our windows so hear the loud bottles getting put in the bin.

No lift so had to lug our bags up the winding staircase. Reception only open from 10:00am and closes at 7:00 pm no good for tourists who either arrive late or set off early! Dining room however was magnificent. Very clean hotel.

I honestly could not recommend Adelaide Inn highly enough. We had to travel from the country to North Adelaide for a surgery for our son. As you could appreciate, it was a long, stressful day and we were looking forward to getting some rest. I was apprehensive about staying somewhere unfamiliar, after the day we had.
