What makes it 57% Baby-Friendly: Pram-wide level paths and calming sights suit a baby visit, yet the site lists no change tables or nursing room; parents must plan feeds and nappy changes elsewhere.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Enough time to stroll, take breaks, enjoy the café and browsing without over-tiring the baby.
Stroller-friendly plant tour:
Wide, flat aisles let you push a stroller through outdoor paddocks and shaded areas.
Tip: Move slowly and pause at water features to soothe the baby with gentle sounds.
Sensory play for baby:
Let baby see bright blooms, smell herbs like lavender and hear water trickling from fountains.
Tip: Carry a soft cloth for wiping hands and a small hat for sun protection in outdoor sections.
Café break at Doncho’s Café:
Grab a coffee or smoothie and light snack in the on-site café with indoor and outdoor seating.
Tip: Ask staff about high chairs before arrival and bring your own baby food if needed.
Kids Range browsing:
Browse colourful mini watering cans, fairy-garden kits and animal-shaped planters.
Tip: Pick one small item to involve the baby in choosing a memento.

Bought many great plants this year and the staff are lovely but a frangipani I paid a fair bit for was just a big cutting with almost no root system and still developing its roots so not happy feel a bit ripped off with this one. I know because when I replanted it slipped out of the soil with only a few strings of roots and now it’s still has no leaves just spikes.

I recently came across and fell instantly in love with a Rose called Pierre de Ronsard. I googled and found Virginia nursery SA has them. I want to talk about a person who went OVER & ABOVE in so many ways. His name is MARK . Mark processes a quiet confidence together with a wealth of knowledge on Roses. I asked so many Q’s and Mark was so kind with his patience. I had travelled over 60kms to com...

Wow what a very busy place, no matter what time or day you go . They have everything you could possibly want for the garden. Allow a couple of hours to walk round the place. There is every colour, size and shape of plant. Good job there are trolleys, as it is so hard to pick. The staff are very helpful and spend a lot of time getting the product that is right for your garden. There is a gift shop...

Beautifully set out, large nursery with a wide variety of outdoor and indoor plants and pots. Plenty of parking with rows of trees. I visited in winter but would love to see the display of flowers on the Crepe Myrtles in the carpark during summer.

Lots of variety, and lots of options. Good sound advice from the friendly staff. The cafe and gift shop has been a great addition over the years. Plenty from indoors to shaded or outdoor plants and accessories. Very fitting for a nursery in a horticultural area. Toilets are kept clean. Ample parking for car or trailer too.
In spring (Sep–Nov), see peak blooms in outdoor paddocks. In summer, visit early when shade is coolest. In winter, paths remain accessible but bring a light jacket.
