What makes it 84% Solo-Friendly: Solo visitors can freely roam pavilions, watch shows, taste local food and ride the Skymaster Wheel without coordination, but peak-hour crowds can feel tiring.
Why 4-6 hours visit duration is ideal for solo trip: A half day lets you join demos, taste SA produce and ride the Wheel without rushing.

Once a year, every year! Spectacular shows and goods. Love the competitions, tastings and hands on experiences in the pavilions. The rides and amusement is great, the queues are not unfortunately. It does get a little more expensive each year. 2025 fireworks included drone show which was different.

Love this, go every year for my bday, especially enjoy the garden displays and the talks are very informative; Bryne is wonderful at how he arranges all of these every year, love Sophie's chook setup, always amazed at the cookery section and love going into the pits to see the bikes & cars, and the fireworks and main arena events😊

My family has loved the Royal Adelaide Show my whole life and i dont think there has been a year that I have missed it. Now taking our own son we love it even more! Have the entry tickets gone up? Sure…. But hasn’t everything? We make the absolute most of it by planning our day and getting in all of the little things that we love about the show. The animals, the atmosphere, dog shows, agriculture…...

Had lots of fun at the Royal Adelaide show this year again. Great rides, fantastic yummy food, did the yellow brick road again this year. Got some show bags . And also a perfume promotion bag full of perfume and creme for just $59 , normally worth $600 .

Always a fun day at the show - even if it’s after a long day at work! Didn’t catch all the exhibitors I wanted to see but still a nice afternoon!
The Show runs in early spring. Pack a light jacket and sunscreen for cool mornings and warm afternoons.
