What makes it 78% Baby-Friendly: Pram-friendly valley path, baby-change toilets and picnic shelters welcome infants; lack of private nursing room, uneven tracks beyond main loop and patchy phone signal can frustrate carers.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Enough time for the pram-friendly walk, playspace and a picnic break without rushing.
Pram-Friendly First Falls Walk:
Sealed 1.6 km loop to the First Falls viewing boardwalk.
Tip: Start at Stradbroke Road car park. Let the baby nap in the pram while you enjoy creek views.
Mukanthi Nature Play Space:
Natural-material playground with climbing logs, tunnels and creek splash zone.
Tip: Use the nearby change tables and shaded picnic shelters for feeding and breaks.
Creek-Edge Family Stroll:
Gentle paths along the creek near the picnic area for spotting waterbirds.
Tip: Bring a baby carrier if parts get narrow. Watch for small fish and frogs in pools.
Picnic & BBQ at Stradbroke Road:
Shaded picnic tables with public BBQ hotplates next to the playspace.
Tip: Arrive before noon for quieter spots. Pack simple foods for easy feed times.

It's a excellent place to get the family they have play area to enjoy, also don't miss the walk to giants cave. If you are adventurous there are plenty of walking trails.

Beautiful walk! The Morialta Loop via First and Second Falls is a great mix of forest, cliffs, and waterfalls. The views are amazing, especially after some rain — though it does get a bit muddy then. The trail’s in good shape overall, not too steep on the ups or downs, and easy to enjoy at a steady pace. A solid choice for a relaxed hike with rewarding scenery close to the city.

A hiking trail for all! Whatever level you are. Morialta has trails from beginners to advanced depending on what you choose. Usually at the start of the hikes is a man who also sells coffee and light snacks if you want a little pick me up at any point. Some of the trails are quite steep and would be a bit heavy on the legs. Great family friendly spot though

I visited Morialta Conservation Park and it was such a refreshing experience. What I loved most was how close it is to Adelaide — yet as soon as you step onto the trails, you feel completely surrounded by nature. Another one of my favourite conservation parks in Adelaide. Love coming here during the school holidays and getting my son off the Nintendo. Many different walking trails to choose from and they all lead to stunning views and wildlife.
Visit after winter rains to see flowing waterfalls. In summer, go early morning to avoid heat and bring extra water.
