What makes it 60% Baby-Friendly: Pram-friendly 500 m path, picnic lawn and baby-change toilets suit a quick visit, yet most boardwalk has stairs and no nursing rooms, so carriers and planning are required.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows time for a picnic, a short pram-friendly walk to the lookout and a café break without rushing.
Picnic at Heron Way Reserve:
Flat, covered picnic tables and benches next to the playground.
Tip: Spread a soft blanket near the shelter, park your pram close by and let your baby nap in the shade.
Pram-friendly stroll to Black Cliff Lookout:
200–300 m bitumen path from Boatshed Café up to the first lookout.
Tip: Push your pram on the smooth path for fresh sea views; turn back at the lookout to avoid uneven ground.
Break at Boatshed Café:
Indoor seating with ocean views and baby-change toilets next door.
Tip: Call ahead to reserve a high chair and use the accessible toilets for quick nappy changes.

Very serene and relax. Perfect for family outing, nature walk or any reason to get away from city hustles.

Good stretch of coast and interesting walk..be prepared for the steps though! I walked from Hallett Cove Beach to Brighton Jetty.

This board walk is also part of the Marion coastal trail, which is about 7 km long. There is interpretive signage along the route describing the park's cultural and geological heritage, including eviden...

We walk here often—it’s easily one of Adelaide’s most stunning coastal walks. In fact, I’d go so far as to say it’s Adelaide’s best walk (yes, much better than Mount Lofty in my opinion). The dramatic cliffs, ocean views, and changing light make every walk a bit different. I recommend starting your journey at either The Nest Café or Marino Rocks Café—both offer a great pre-walk coffee and a good ...

Highly recommend walk for photographers or fitness ,not too busy, not too strenuous but plenty of fantastic natural sites along the way. We looked at Google Maps before we went to find out where to park so that we can start at one end and return back we ended up doing a 5 km loop. Do not there’s not many places to park .
In summer bring sunhat, sunscreen and extra water—shade is limited on the trail. In cooler months dress in layers and use the covered picnic area when it's windy.
